Collection

Collections consisting of collector items/collection elements can be exchanged for items, other collector items, experience and coin.

Collector items are gained from harvesting natural resources, treasures, friend interactions, using a geologist or super geologist at a respective location and other means, as well as in exchange for other collections.

Exchanging a collection also gives a result item, which is another collection item that may or may not be a needed part of another collection.

Some temporary collections are not permanently available, but only at certain times, seasons, or events. Outside of those they are not available for exchange, though it seems the stored collection items themselves are saved and can be exchanged again when the collection is next available.
