The Castle is a structure. It increases friendly visitor interactions when visiting friends. The Castle also allows you to send your Subjects on Adventures.
The castle can be purchased only once, and it can only be placed on the Platform located at the end of the home location (Estate or Camp). (Some of you may have placed your Airship into that location. By level 20 you should have already unlocked each "area" leading to the last location.)

Once the Castle is finished (=stage 10), the player's visitor interaction increases by 50 for a total of 100.
The finished Castle enables the player to send Subjects on Adventures to find rewards. (See article Adventures for details.) Each further construction upgrade unlocks more Adventures.
